Serving is one of the ways we are shaped in love and attentiveness to others. Through simple acts of care and presence, we grow into people who reflect Christ’s character in everyday life. Serving others is how goodness takes shape over time. We want to help you nurture habits that form patience, generosity, and faithfulness, learning together how small acts of service can shape who we become. Service is part of the culture of our church because it forms us. As we serve together, we learn to notice others, share responsibility, and participate more fully in the life we are building together.

Serving Within the Church

There are many ways to serve within the life of the church, each one supporting shared worship, care, learning, and hospitality. These roles help sustain the rhythms of our gathered life together.

Worship and Tech Teams

These teams support worship through music, sound, visuals, and technical coordination. Serving here helps create a welcoming and focused environment where the congregation can gather and participate fully.

Guest Services

Guest Services volunteers help create a warm and attentive welcome, assisting people as they arrive and helping newcomers feel at ease as they find their way into the life of the church.

Kids and Students

Serving with children and students helps create safe, engaging spaces where younger members can learn, ask questions, and grow. These roles support families and help nurture faith across generations.

Care and Prayer

This area of service focuses on listening, praying, and walking alongside others during difficult seasons. It offers meaningful ways to support people through presence, compassion, and shared prayer.

Operations

Operational roles support the behind-the-scenes needs of the church, helping maintain spaces, coordinate logistics, and ensure gatherings and activities run smoothly and responsibly.

Food and Life-Need Donations

Volunteers help collect and organize donations for the church pantry and community pantry, supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity through practical and consistent care.

Property Stewardship

Property teams care for buildings and grounds, stewarding shared resources so spaces remain safe, welcoming, and available for worship, gatherings, and community use.

Childcare Center Board

The Childcare Center Board supports oversight and guidance for the preschool, helping ensure a healthy, nurturing environment for children and families connected to the church.

Back-to-school drives help provide supplies for students and families, supporting education and easing financial strain at the start of the school year.

Global Missions Support

We support global missionary families through prayer, financial support, and ongoing care, staying connected to work happening beyond our local community.

Supporting Global Servants

We provide monthly support to global missionary families, often referred to as Global Servants, partnering with them through prayer and sustained commitment.
